01 Our commitment

Hyey exists to make caregiving easier for all members of the care team. It's important to us that this website works for people who navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, zoom in, turn on high-contrast mode, or prefer reduced motion.

02 Conformance status

This website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA.

03 What this statement covers

This statement covers the pages of hyeycare.com: Home, FAQs, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and this page.

It does not cover content hosted by other companies that we link to, even though we chose those services with care:

• the Hyey mobile app on iOS and Android
• our listings on the Apple App Store and Google Play
• our newsletter signup form, which is hosted by Google Forms
• our Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media pages

04 How we tested

We combined automated checks with hands-on testing:

• automated scans with several independent tools, including axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, IBM Equal Access, and Siteimprove's Alfa engine
• keyboard-only navigation of every page
• review of the accessibility information that browsers expose to screen readers
• text resizing to 200% and browser zoom, at phone, tablet, and desktop widths
• Windows High Contrast (forced colors) and reduced-motion settings
• testing in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari's engine

05 Things you can adjust

• Carousel: the feature carousel on the homepage changes slides on its own. Use the pause button next to the slide counter to stop it. Choosing a slide yourself also stops it.
• Motion: if "reduce motion" is turned on in your device settings, the carousel won't rotate and the other animations won't play.
• Text size: all text follows your browser's text-size and zoom settings.
